 Wednesday 10 March 2010 This morning Cygnus the Swan circles the skies as the sun rises. The Ancients considered this to be a point destination for the souls of the dead at departure. Cygnus was a close friend of Phaeton, who dived into the sea and swam in circles trying to recover the body of his lost friend after his fiery catastrophe. The individual names for the stars indicate the nature of the constellation is one of Who Goes and Comes; Flying Quickly; Glorious Shining; and He Shall Come Down. Those people and relationships born under these stars are pleasant and cheerful, artistically gifted, musically inclined, and idealistic. The wise and prudent will consider her actions and issues through this lens. Today we get straight to the point! Guard the bones, skin, teeth, hair, and nails. Today we can feel those things we had set on the back burner, or put to the back of our minds, coming to life with a roar; this may strike us as a new project or idea from without, out of the blue. Today we must expect the unexpected, as we are squeezed between the moon squaring us and opposing the orb of Energy, our natural ruler. In a nutshell, today we are going to be forced into a decisive and quick action, that will be defining. The lineup of heavenly bodies in the air sign, Aquarius, is of enormous support to us, helping us direct our thoughts and energies, as air feeds fire. The orb of Energy and Ambition, our natural ruler, is in a squaring position to us from the sign of Cancer. This is why we have so frequently felt like we are under water, or in hot water, or just submerged in our own feelings. The mighty red orb turns direct now, so our feelings and train of thought will also straighten themselves out, and we will be able to progress on all our important themes; family, home, spring cleaning, kids. Taurus the Starry Bull  With our natural ruler, the kindly orb of Grace and Victory, in the sign of Drama, Theater, Passionate Colors and Intense Feelings, anything can result now. We would wisely channel such energies into the contemplation of the Passion, rather than letting Nature have her way with us. We have a powerful ally in Saturn, the leaden doorstop of the galaxy, sitting in Virgo, the other earth sign. This enhances our power to say no to what we know is bad or wrong for us, reinforces our self discipline, and focuses our views of principle. Let's do take advantage of this power especially in the realm of diet and excess. Neptune, the sun, Jupiter, and Mercury are all in a squaring position to us from Aquarius, so we must put our priorities straight, and our health a first priority! We also must be very careful of anything and everything we say, or write. Look for beauty everywhere, and it will blossom in us, too!  Gemini! Gemini!
With our natural ruler, loquacious and good natured Mercury, close to the sun and supersizing Jupiter in the other Air sign, we feel this is our time to shine, blossom, and be the center of every good thing! We look and feel marvelous, strong and empowered, and now is a marvelous day in a fabulous time! If we have a favor to grant or ask, a plan to launch, a scheme to hatch, or a length to go, now is a blessed and fortunate time to all! We are bound to succeed in whatever we are inspired to start now. We are dealing, long term, with the effects of fateful, fitful Pluto opposing us from fiery Sagittarius, the sign of the Archer. We will notice, since we are naturally sharp as tacks, that many events, words, or actions by others are aimed at us specifically, and the aim carries true. These are often not intended to be kind or perceived by us as favors. Since God is in charge of everything that happens, we are wise to go along with the flow, as it will bring us to where we need to be. Cancer  Our plans are about to take a dramatic 180 degree turn; don't start anything now, because Something is going to hit us from out of the blue and take us to places we never dreamed we'd go. We have one more week to spend redoing, repainting, remodeling, re anything especially in the most sacred domain, our homes. Mars, our current occupying orb, will turn direct on the 20th. After that, everything goes!!! Leo  Silence!! This week we are being challenged to answer back harshly, without thinking, without counting the cost of our words. The wise and prudent Leo will take the vow of a Trappist today and tomorrow, and like Christ Himself will be silent in the midst of His accusers. Neptune, the sun, Jupiter, and Mercury all occupy Aquarius now and square us soundly and roughly. Life just sucks. Today however we still can choose to let circumstances expand our problems beyond all solution, and become the Kings of Pain; or we can rejoice in the victory of others in the least comfortable position for the King- that of spectator, instead of center stage- and allow heaven to act through us to perform an even more spectacular Act of Grace. This state obtains for some time to come, and we must remember who we are. If we are unwilling, it will still happen, but in a less flattering way. We are facing a month of sharp obstacles, challenges, and opportunities, and get the feeling that we are not really in charge of things after all. Control is after all an illusion; and we are going to be dealing with many of them! Illusions, vauge unease, scattered thoughts, a sense of something missing... this is a fine time to study the philosophy of the saints, to affirm the transformation of sinner into saint.  Virgo
This week, we are at the beginning of a reality check like no other. Life is about to get really bumpy, hitting us squarely in our emotional being, in our feet, or from deeds of our past catching up to us. A long standing belief, acceptance, or unknown problem which has either been on the back burner, or has risen up silently like a serpent to bite us on our backside, strikes repeatedly this week as the sun moves toward Uranus, and Uranus opposes us. Use this gift of sudden awareness to the maximum by facing and solving the underlying issue now. We still are meeting obstacles, challenges, and oppositions of real substance, not our imagination, now. They always seem to come out of the blue to jolt us into a whole new form of reality. It cannot be predicted, it will be felt from deep within like an earthquake; it doesn't have to be handled like a disaster. It is a Revelation, and comes from the unpredictable orb of the zodiac, Uranus. Many of the very wisest star watchers consider this blue-green orb to be the star of the Liberator, or His star. The wise Virgo will use the energy of Saturn, long visitant to our sign, as an anchor and a backbone. Saturn teaches us basic life lessons in a very bold, dramatic way. These lessons can be about finance, basic nutrition, basic health maintenance, or fundamental relationship issues. The one thing we have to watch, and watch very carefully and prudently, is any aspect of our long range plans. Pluto in Sagittarius is squaring Saturn, making our long range plans, long held beliefs, assumptions and preconceptions subject to fierce bombardment. This is known as purification; what remains is pure gold. What burns away is dross and chaff, dangerous to us.  The huge line up of planets in air is like a breath of cool fresh crisp spring air to us! This whole season has left us Inspired, and we have every opportunity to materialize this inspiration into reality! A grand opportunity awaits us, and we just have to claim it by being our charming selves. This is due to the airy residence of the sun, Neptune, Jupiter, and Mercury. We are really full of fabulous new ideas, plans, insights, and tunes! We still have Mars in Cancer in a square position to us, so we may be feeling a little run down, or lacking in energy. Taking it easy is hard for us to do, but we must put our health and welfare as a priority.  Wise Old Scorpio
These new horizons from the Age of Aquarius contain more than one sore spot for us; we have Neptune, the sun, Jupiter, and Mercury soundly squaring us, which is just plain hard. We have been doing very well adjusting, making the most of our position, proving the strength of our sign. Most important, we can use this fabulous energy toward forgiving and healing any emotional wounds which may linger; remove the poisonous stingers from ourselves and others would answer very well, very blessed. We are also going to participate in A Great Work; the question put to us is, in what capacity shall we perform, that of enemy, cause, or champion? We need to be alert, on guard, and at our best! Never forget the power of prayer. Sagittarius  Today we get real light on those forces determined to pull us apart. Pluto, the fateful, fitful long time visitant to our sign, is being soundly squared by both Saturn in Virgo, which we have probably gotten used to, and Uranus in Pisces. Hard enough to do! These days Uranus is joined by the Aquarian sun, the orb of Self in the sign of Ideas and Brotherhood, and we are in for a real jolt to our depths. Today we go through a cleansing process like no other. This T-square involving us, Saturn, and Uranus is still in play, and make no mistake about the fact that it has the power to break the strongest and sanest of us into fragments. The key to using this gigantic energy to our advantage is to admit that we have need of mental and emotional housecleaing, and do the necessary and painful confrontations. Then we can see clearly how to put the pieces back together. We will also be able to see that we have a whole new lease on life. We have a whole new vision of the world and its principles, and the way in which we can make its laws work for us. These innovated plans and new world views are only changing into something far greater than our vision was capable of seeing before now; we are renewed, and are an instrument for renewing. The orb of ambition, energy, and exercise, all vital parts of our nature, is opposite us, in the sign of Cancer. This fiery red orb doesn't do the water signs well, and it tells us on by zapping our strength and draining our vitality. We may yet use the powerful Saturn, our natural ruler, visitant in the other earth sign, Virgo, by sticking to our health regimen!! It is really necessary now. Saturn has been a tower of strength for us, making us pay attention to our health, our discipline, our bones, and our family. This leaden orb is now being opposed by Uranus, the wildcard of the zodiac; our health and peace of mind, and our long term views and accepted principles, have been under seige. We have found we really have to examine our beliefs and patterns thoroughly, honestly, and carefully, and that some of them need refining, redefining, and replacing. This is not easy for the confident, sure Capricorn to do. This week as the moon comes up behind us through fiery Sagittarius, it throughs its life forwad and gives us a real tool with which to see the future. Some aspects of our thinking and working are going to be challenged to the very core; it may resolve itself as a physical challenge to a loved one or a guiding principle. There is no fight or battle involved; just a reassessment process which we would be wise to embrace. Yes, it will hurt; we are tough. We have the example on the cross. Aquarius  Today we think BIG!! We are capable of some of the most generous, philanthropic acts today; we can also overcommit to acts too big for us through our careless words. Let us be honest above all. We have Neptune, the sun, Jupiter, and Mercury in our sign, making the music of the spheres for all to hear, coming from both without and within! We have so much power now to spread our vast inner wealth around the world! These are the days when we are most blessed, most fortunate, and most capable of making the world a wonderful place. Jupiter's occuplation of our sign brings blessings in the millions; it can mean sudden demand for our company and expertise, many engagements, or more pounds on the scale. Let us exercise an excess of moderation, only! Neptune in Aquarius is the real blessing! This nebulous, hazy orb can be a source of fantastic inspiration in any realm that produces innovation, novelty, invention, new horizons and parameters! This is the most exciting and wonderful time to work at expanding our capacity to connect with the Boundless, and bring the heavenly expanse into our reality! Today, we are thinking big, and feeling great; but we are increasingly aware of both hostility to our thoughts, and opposition to our stand. Usually we weep over this, and get over it; would it not be wiser to examine what the challenges and protests are, fairly and with love? Then we can learn from this experience, rather than just regret it. This is still the best time ever to be a Pisces, and we can share this wonderous new light will everyone! Uranus, the Liberator of the zodiac, the unpredictable, is in our sign now, upsetting everyone and everything and ringing in the New. Venus celebrating the spring through our sign will set us totally, wholley free to set a new paradigm in our emotional life as well! Our hearts are liberated, we accept unconditionally just like the angels do, just as Christ does. This is the closest to heaven we can be while still in the flesh. What a wonder! With the moon on fire in Sagittarius, coming up beind us, our visions both at night and during the day have never been more clear, more on target, or more sure! There has never been easier for us to love! We are in a perfect position to dispense grace and favors from heaven; we are so blessed! Things are going right for us now, the plan just falls into place and things proceed swiftly, smoothly, and quickly!! All our dreams are on their way! Naturally, we are going to upset and possibly destroy other peoples concepts and designs; we are going to be challening the status quo, the accepted way, the way things have always been understood to be right. But we are agile and quick, and we are right. December 21, 2012  What is destined to occur on this auspicious date? Everyone is giving the Winter Solstice of 2012 unprecedented attention. Some are expecting the end of the world, while others are saying business as usual, all the while realizing business hasn't been as usual for some time now. Is this the day that Jesus will return? Let's consider the whole picture before jumping to conclusions. First, Jesus told us clearly and repeatedly that the day of His return was a secret known only to His Father. Jesus didn't know, or evince any curiosity, as to when His encore would occur. He promised it would happen, told us to live every day as if it were our last, and not to worry about the rest. Did He give us a code to find, a riddle to solve, a way to figure the date out? Since He didn't know the date, He left no clue to any method of discovery. He did leave the injunction that there would be signs in the heavens that would precede His return. He likened these signs to birth pangs. Thus the creators of the Mayan Long Count and Short Count calender, which concludes on the Winter Solstice of 2012, become involved in our theme. (These ancient people knew Jesus as Quetzalcoatl, and identified Him correctly with the Morning Star.) Their assiduous sky watching and recording of incidents witnessed is phenomenal. They call the Galactic Dark Rift 'xibalba' which many interpret as Hell; others point out is properly translated as Birth Canal. On the Winter Solstice, December 21 of 2012, our sun will rise conjunct the dark Galactic Birth Canal, just at the mouth of the star sign Sagittarius. This can be said to be the time of the beginning of the birth pangs. He also said, before He left this terrestrial earth to join His Father in Heaven, 'this generation shall not pass away before these things come to pass.' So we have the outside time frame of at least a generation from the Winter Solstice of 2012 before we have to organize for Him coming back in force to establish an earthly kingdom, of which there will be no end.
